After completing your order, an email is sent to the Seller with a prepaid shipping label and they’re encouraged to ship immediately. It usually takes around 3 days for Sellers to get items in the mail, but it can take up to 7 business days. Please note that shipping is paid for by the Buyer.

Shipments over $500.00 will require a signature confirmation upon delivery.

All orders made through Pass the Plate are backed by Treet Protection, which means you’ll get what you ordered in the condition promised, or we’ll issue a full refund. To receive a refund, simply file a Misrepresentation Claim within 72 hours of receiving your order. Here’s how to do it. If, for whatever reason, you decide you don’t like your purchase, we will not issue a Treet Protection refund. However, you can re-list your item(s) with seller fees waived. Simply re-list the item within 72 hours of its arrival by contacting support@treet.co. You can also choose to add Seel Return Assurance to your order at checkout (if your order is eligible). Return Assurance gives you a seven-day return window on items that are otherwise non-refundable. If you’re unhappy with the purchase for any reason, Seel will buy it back from you for 100% of the purchase price. Please note that shipping fees are not covered by Return Assurance. The original shipping fee will not be returned, and a $10 return shipping fee will be deducted from your final refund.

In the early-to-mid 1900s, lead was a common ingredient in pottery glazes due to its low melting temperature, which helps glazes come together during the firing process. Cadmium was used in certain glazes to achieve a more vibrant hue. Heath has always adhered to all applicable safety standards for production, and once the FDA guidance on food product safety was introduced in the 1970s, began testing glazes against those safety standards to ensure they complied. At this point, many glazes were either reformulated or archived from production. With a deep history of over 75 years of production, some early Heath glazes contain lead and cadmium. When ceramics are fired, the ingredients are encapsulated in a strong, glassy structure. According to current FDA guidelines on permissible levels of heavy metals, even vintage ceramics that test positive for heavy metals can be food-safe. We provide this information so that you may use your own discretion regarding owning and eating off vintage ceramics. Items produced prior to 2008 are considered ‘vintage’ and include the following California Prop 65 warning label: Products with a “WARNING” label can expose you to chemicals including lead or cadmium, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer.
